What operating systems or browsers should you use when running Vocus?
Since Vocus is an internet application, its ability to deliver new features is dependent on the internet browsers that are being used. In this regards, it is very important to keep your web browser updated according to the recommendations by Vocus.
The most recommended web browsers are:
Firefox 3.0
Internet Explorer version 7

PC Users:
Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
Firefox 3.0 or higher
IE has come out with IE8, this browser is still in beta and while we are working to make the application compatible with this new browser, you may experience slight performance issues, as IE makes changes to this browser during the beta phase of its release. Feel free to report these issues to us and we will do our best to resolve them for you whenever possible.
Mac Users:
Firefox 3.0 or higher
Older web browsers that support the Vocus application but not support some of the new features and technologies:
Internet Explorer 6
Firefox 2.0
If you are currently using one of these older browsers, you will see a small popup in the top right corner of your system when you log into Vocus. Clicking on this will take you to the browser’s website for upgrade options.
You can also upgrade your browser by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx or http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ . Some companies may restrict rights to users to do this, so you may need to work with your IT department.

A screen resolution above 800x600 pixels is ideal for viewing and navigating Vocus.
