Mashable Ranks Top 10 Social Media Tools for B2B Marketers
From time to time someone sends me an interesting article from Mashable. Mashable describes itself as,
"Mashable is the world’s largest blog focused exclusively on Web 2.0 and Social Media news. With more than 15 million monthly pageviews, Mashable is the most prolific blog reviewing new Web sites and services, publishing breaking news on what’s new on the web and offering social media resources and guides. Mashable’s audience includes early adopters, social media enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, influencers, brands and corporations, marketing, PR and advertising agencies, Web 2.0 aficionados and technology journalists. Mashable is also popular with bloggers, Twitter and Facebook users — an increasingly influential demographic."
This week, I decided to add Mashable to my Google Reader. I was a little imtimated because they post so much content everyday, but as I was scrolling through todays posts I came across at least five different tips to share with you. I have decided to focus on a post called, "10 Essential Social Media Tools for B2B Marketers."
The tools on the list are:
- Salesforce
- Hootsuite
- Co-Tweet
- SocialTALK
- Radian6
- Spredfast
- Social Radar
- truPulse
- Viralheat
- Sentiment Metrics
Over the next few weeks I will be going through these tools and giving you a brief overview of each one. This will include, the purpose of the tool, costs associated with the tool and any other helpful information I can dig up.
After the GMT Twitter training I started a discussion thread about Twitter dashboards including Hootsuite. Click here to read it.
