Twitter Dashboards
Judging by the number of GMT users with Twitter accounts, I can deduce that most of you think that Twitter is a powerful communications tool or at least that it has potential and everyone else is doing it so you should too.
Which ever the case is, I want to help you get more out of your Twitter account. By using Twitter dashboards to manage your accounts you can save time and monitor the conversation more effectively.
I use Tweetdeck and Hootsuite to manage my Twitter accounts. They both do the same thing, but they have a few slight differences. You should experiment with both of them to figure out which one you feel most comfortable with.
Both of these dashboards enable you to send tweets, follow new Twitter handles, monitor #channels and so much more. One of the biggest changes to both Tweekdeck and Hootsuite is that they let you update multiple accounts at once. This means that you can send the same tweet from two people or you can update your Twitter status, Facebook status and LinkedIn status at the same time. This will save you a lot of time, you don't have to travel all over the web to tell your followers what's going on.
To learn more about these dashboards and other Twitter tools check out the GMT Twitter Training on March 25th at 1 p.m. Eastern. Click here to sign up.
